The AC-7 Pro Control brings full touch control to your music adn record session.
- 2 way will cominication enable "flyng fader".
- Track level meter for monitoring peacks.
- Dedicate mode for Apple's Logic, Motu's Digital Performer and Pro Tools. There is only one general MC mode for use with other software which uses the protocool.
- Track names can update automatically from your recording software.
TIME DISPLAY: Shows the current playhead position in minutes/seconds or bars/beats
MODE BUTTON: Selects DAW mode
- LC for Apple’s Logic Pro
- DP for MOTU’s Digital Performer
- PT for Pro Tools (currently only basic functionality)
- MC for standard Mackie Control protocol

FADERS: Fully multitouch flying faders with 14 bit sub-pixel precision. There are markings indicating 0dB volume and centre pan.
METERS: Show channel volume levels
FLIP BUTTON: Changes fader function between volume and pan
BANK LEFT/RIGHT: Used to enable control of more channels, limited only by DAW capabilities
ASSIGN SECTION: Generally this where the editing mode is chosen, depending on current DAW mode
MULTI FUNCTION BUTTONS: These change to suit individual DAW modes, but this is the Logic set. The buttons on the bottom row select different groups of 8 buttons. In this case MAIN contains commonly used buttons, V-POT emulates pushing the numbered encoder button, SCRN switches to a numbered screenset, GVIEW limits the type of channels available.
This section generally deals with automation and transport options.
The modifier buttons (SHIFT,ALT etc.) are latched so touch them once to engage, and once more to disengage.
The jog wheel moves the playhead when rotated and scrub can usually be used too (depending on DAW software used)
The SWITCH TO CURSOR button brings up a standard cursor section with up, down, left, right and zoom buttons.
