It does not emulate analog equipment, but instead gives the user full control of overtone generation and volume. Despite this high level of controllability, Reviver’s user interface is intuitive and provides the desired result after just a few mouse clicks.
Low CPU Usage Reviver is very CPU efficient. Just to give you a rough figure, on a Mac Pro dual-dual-core 2,66 GHz Xeon, you can run more than 200 instances of Reviver at 44,1 kHz.
System Requirements For now, Reviver supports the audio unit format and is therefore available for Mac OS X only. It works with 10.4.9 or later, and 10.5 (Leopard). Reviver is a Universal Binary. Reviver supports all AU-compatible hosts. It has been tested with Apple‘s Logic Pro 7/8, Ableton Live 6/7, and MOTU‘s Digital Performer 5.
